Julie Hrudová, born in Prague in 1988, currently resides and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has collaborated with various publications and her work has been showcased extensively on a global scale.
From 2020 to 2021, Julie undertook a weekly street photography project for the Amsterdam-based newspaper Het Parool. Her resulting series, titled “Chasing Amsterdam,” was compiled into a book, which was recognized as one of the top photo books of 2022 by the Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant.
Furthermore, Julie is a member of Burn My Eye, an international collective focused on street photography. She is also the creator and curator of StreetRepeat, a platform highlighting repetitions in street photography. Additionally, she serves as a photo editor at RTL News TV.
