Navin Kumar Vatsa, born in 1972, hails from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and presently resides in Delhi, India, pursuing his career as a professional photographer. His journey into photography was influenced by his early passion for art, which garnered him numerous accolades in painting and sketching during his school years.
With a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Vatsa initially embarked on a career path in education, serving as a computer teacher and academic administrator in reputable institutions for over 16 years before transitioning to full-time photography.
Over the past decade, Vatsa’s artistic contributions have been widely acknowledged and honored by esteemed institutions such as National Geographic, Sony World, Sony India, HIPA, MSPF, SIENA, Eyeshot Magazine, Penguin Publications, the Government of Delhi, and various other national and international organizations.
Vatsa’s achievements include winning the HIPA award twice (in the 9th and 11th seasons), his role as a contributing photographer for National Geographic’s YourShot community, and his position as a Photography Mentor for Tamron India. In his capacity as a mentor, he has conducted over 20 intensive workshops and delivered more than 50 lectures and phototalks across different cities in India.
